The low-profile Flow Pro waistband is perforated for increased ventilation and reduced heat buildup, and the Accelerator Micro Mesh fabric provides 4-way stretch and enhanced breathability. Since I started running, the BOA elite 1.5" split shorts have been my go to for every run, and I've managed to accumulate about 8 pairs of them in different patterns. I was *stoked* when I saw that BOA had a new model of shorts and I ordered the aeroelite 2" split shorts right away.

I've worn my aeroelite shorts a couple times and I really like them. The outer shell material is certainly nicer than the vanilla elite split shorts. It's softer, breezier, and it "feels" lighter to wear even though the elite and aeroelite don't have a noticeable weight difference.

The waist band fits noticeably tighter though, even when the drawstring is completely loosened. I have a 32" waist and normally wear the medium in the elite split shorts, but the medium aeroelites feel tight on me. I might try sizing up if I order these again, but for now I'm happy with my purchase.
