Rubber duck shorts

The shorts are so nice! They are light and comfortable. I had my first run in the mountains on Saturday with them. When I would sit down on the ground though I felt they were so thin I was worried they would rip on any of the sticks. Could there be another material you could use for mountain running shorts?

Also, maybe having a picture on your website that shows the size comparisons with your shorts. I bought the half split shorts. I could only find the half split and the 1 inch sizes. Are there no more five inch size shorts?
