The BOA 3” Half Split Trainer features lightweight moisture wicking fabric to keep you cool and performing at the highest level. 3” inseam and mid side splits offer relaxed range of motion, and moderate coverage. The built in smooth mesh liner is comfortable and moisture wicking. Elastic waistband has an adjustable drawstring and sleek internal key pocket.

Versatile shorts

I use these shorts for both running and cycling (stand-up bike). The half-splits on the legs are really important so that there are no restrictions on leg movements. They dry quickly.
Suggested improvements: a taller and slightly wider key pocket that will hold an energy gel packet (GU). I have other shorts with a zippered back pocket that holds 2 gel packets. On longer runs or rides, I need a gel or two.
Also, sturdier waistband elastic would make these great shorts. After only a few washings the waistband elastic is starting to lose its shape.
