Men's Illusion Steel Hypersoft Long Sleeve Shirt
The Hypersoft series is the softest, most comfortable top we have ever introduced. Hypersoft fabric is 90% Polyester and 10% spandex, featuring our new “mossed” finish. The “mossing” on this fabric creates an ultra-soft and smooth finish. Hypersoft offers the perfect amount of 4 way stretch to never bind, or catch in any motion. This fabric provides capillary wicking characteristics, actively pulling moisture away from your body. Once you feel this fabric, you won’t want to take it off. Don’t worry, you wont smell, this fabric has an anti-microbial finish keeping the smell down no matter how far you go. This series features contrast shoulder tape and stitching for added appeal. There are 3 unique styles available in this new fabric; racerback singlet, short sleeve, and long sleeve.

Great build quality, very soft. Love that it’s made in USA. Subtracting one star for fit. I found the fit to be just a tad tighter than I’d like. I’d also like the back portion to be a little longer like lululemon does with their shirts. Despite this, I would buy again because the minor differences are outweighed by being made in USA.
I have three teenage boys and got this shirt for my oldest two years ago. One younger brother asked for it last Christmas and now the third one just got his. All three are still wearing it - for lounging, running in the cold, etc... They love it - wish it came in more colors!
I tested this shirt out on a long run during a chilly day with a light drizzle, and it did not disappoint. The fabric is really soft, which makes it perfect for longer runs and minimizes chances for chaffing. It is also a little thicker than some of my other long sleeve tees, so the warmth was evident, but not so much that it was uncomfortable. If I were to make some recommendations, I think a version with thumb holes would be great; and maybe some more reflective elements. But that's just me. The shirt itself is awesome.
The most comfortable running shirt is the BOA Hypersoft line.
It is more comfortable than other brands such as Janji’s Runpaca, Mountain Hardwear’s Crater Lake, & LuLuLemon’s Metal Vent; to be rivaled by only very high-end material’s found in my Arc’teryx Kyanite jacket.
It truly is the perfect combination of soft yet elastic enough to be used for outdoor activities.
Have worn this shirt on a few runs and have found it to have great moisture wicking & odor control properties.
This is a thicker shirt than BOA’s Versatex line, so this shirt is heavier and will keep you warmer during your runs.
For reference, I’m 6’ 2” with a dress shirt size of 15.5” neck x 34/35length.
I purchased a Medium and found that it fits close to the skin (not tight) and the length on both my torso and my arms was perfect.
I have two critiques for this shirt:
1. No stated UPF protection, unlike the Versatex line
2. BOA needs to release these shirts in “solid” colors, so these shirts will have more flexibility in wardrobes!
I run two marathons with this shirt and barely felt it. That's how good it is.
The soft material combined with the stretchy feel make this top perfect.
