I dislike wearing any bra in general and have trouble finding sports bras that I can tolerate as they all feel like straight jackets to me. I'm overall petite at 5'3", 115 lbs, but have a fairly muscular upper body. Meanwhile, I have quite small girls, less than A cup, that don't need much support. I normally wear the most minimal, flimsy little sports bras that I can find. In this case, I wanted a bra that would be presentable for running without a shirt, which means something sturdier and with more coverage. So I decided to try BOA. I ordered a size small, and when I first tried it on, it felt much too compressive for me around the rib cage. Sports bras usually stretch, though, so I started wearing it around the house in small doses, then for a run and to hot yoga. It has indeed stretched a bit and has become much more comfortable. I believe that a medium would be too big. As far as full-coverage, presentable-without-a-shirt sports bras go, this is definitely one of the more comfortable ones that I've owned. It's well made, with solid stitching, smooth seams, and nice details like mesh in the back. It comes down fairly low on my torso -- not quite crop top, but definitely on the longer side for a traditional sports bra -- with a wide band on the bottom. The neck comes up high enough and the arm holes are proportioned right. I really appreciate the simply, classic racerback design -- lately the fashion has been for sports bras to have convoluted, spider-web style skinny strap designs (no thanks). I also appreciate that it does not come with "modesty pads." I hate those things (when did society become so squeamish about nipples?) and throw them away. This is a minor quibble, but the color is slightly different than I expected -- it's more of an orange red than a classic red. But I'm not too fussy about that. In summary, if you are looking for a full-coverage, supportive sports bra that keeps everything contained and looks decent if you want to whip your shirt off, or maybe even jump in the lake, this is a good choice. Love that it's made in the USA.
My shorts and top I bought have been incredible for my running! They don’t ride up and they are incredible east to workout in! I am obsessed with them!!!
Colorful and comfy! Keeps everything where it needs be…no chafing and just plain awesome!
As a 32DDD, I was sceptical that this would be comfortable, keep it all in, and more importantly, do both of those while running. Well, color me surprised. So far I've gone as far as 6 miles with it and no issues.
I followed the sizing guide to figure out what size I needed and it was spot on. Definitely thinking of buying more!
Love 💕 the support
